PJCBG Garden Cam

Live Web cam

This current view looks out from our temporary office building westward.  The area to the left of the fence is the site of the Pattern Garden.  Construction of this garden space is largely finished, the original soil has been replaced with an improved soil mix, and we are now working to eradicate weed seeds present in this soil mix.  The structure in the upper left-hand corner of this view is our Garden Pavilion.  It is largely finished, except for the metal roof that will soon be installed.  Presently, we are working to lay in the brick paver and bluestone pathway that will mark the center line of the Pleached Hornbeam Walk -- on the far left-side of this Garden Cam view.  Stay tuned for more in the coming days and weeks!  (Updated 21 August 2008)

Planned Water Conservation at PJCBG

The Garden has big plans to use/reuse/conserve every drop of water that falls on the property.

On Monday, July 21, Dr. Todd Lasseigne, Executive Director, was interviewed by Michelle Kennedy, Meteorologist at WXII12, about plans for water usage and conservation at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden.  To view this interview, click on the link:

Become a member of the Friends of the Garden and help support the ongoing development of a fabulous new botanical garden serving the Piedmont Triad area, the whole of North Carolina, and beyond!  This year, to date, great progress has occurred in the Garden's construction and planning, and you will continue to see more over the coming months.

We have had wonderful support not only from Kernersville but also from individuals and organizations in our surrounding communities.  Development of Paul J.
