Garden Pavilion Design

The plan below shows the design of the Garden Pavilion that is being constructed adjacent to the Pattern Garden.  This structure will be located at the western terminus of the Pleached Hornbeam Walk and will provide a shelter where visitors can gather.  Inside the Garden Pavilion will be a map of the Garden, as well as a calendar of events.  Presently, as of 26 September 2008, the exterior of this structure is now completed.  Only details on the interior (such as electrical wiring and lighting, bench installation, etc.) need to be undertaken.

This structure was designed by Mr. Perry Harrison, Jr., Landscape Architect, The Hayter Firm, Pinehurst, North Carolina.
